Google Analytics

For the purpose of monitoring the usage of the application, the number of users accessing the application and the type of activities undertaken inside the application. We use this data to identify issues, plan functionality improvements and monitor marketing activities.

The data sent to Google Analytics does not include any information entered within the app, such as entry data. Although unique identifiers are used to enable Google to group data together correctly, we are unable to uniquely identify a single user within Google Analytics and we use the data provided purely in an aggregated format.

The application allows you to choose to opt out of Google Analytics measurements using either the privacy popup or within the privacy options.

Google Firebase

For the purpose of collecting crash information through Google Crashlytics which includes information around the device, such as OS version and what was happening within the app at the point of the crash, usually referred to as a “stack trace”.

The data sent to Google Crashlytics does not include any information entered within the app, such as entry data. Although unique identifiers are used to enable Google to group data together correctly, we are unable to uniquely identify a single user within Google Crashlytics and we use the data provided purely in an aggregated format.

The website where this privacy policy is provided is hosted by Google Firebase hosting. This hosting uses IP addresses to deliver content as is standard in all web communications.

Google Admob

For the purpose of publishing adverts within the app. Data is collected for which ads you see and whether you click through on the ad. Ads will also be personalised to try and make them more relevant to you unless you choose to opt out.

The data sent to Google Admob does not include any information entered within the app, such as entry data. Although unique identifiers are used to enable Google to group data together correctly, we are unable to uniquely identify a single user within Google Admob and we use the data provided purely in an aggregated format.

Gmail

Our emails use Google’s Gmail services. Any email communications you have with us will be kept for 2 years for auditing purposes. Emails may be kept longer in cases of abuse of us or our product(s) or other legal requirements.

We urge you not to include any personal or payment information in communications with us except where it is necessary for your query. We will never ask you for any payment details.

How do we keep your information safe?

We have organisational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our, or our third parties’ security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

Data gathered from the app for analytics and crash data are sent directly through the app using Google provided APIs and other technologies and stored within Google systems. We do not see or have access to this information until after it reaches Google Systems.

Logins to the app make use of Google Accounts and are directly managed by Google processes. We cannot see or access your password and we do not access any information within your account. The backup process is managed by the app directly with Google Drive, we cannot access any information sent via this process.

Account deletion

If you choose to sign in to Google to backup data to your Google Drive, any app data is held within your Google Drive only and can be deleted from there. We do not create any other form of account and any data is only held with Google for them to process your sign in request, and the data that is stored within your Google Drive.

Depending on where you are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean you have certain rights regarding your personal information.
